US envoy to Libya, Jonathan Winer, said Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces are making tangible advances on Sirte frontlines saying those advances were made by a very expensive human loss, in reference to the huge number of the killed and injured fighters in the battle. On Twitter, he urged for provision of medical needs and medical staff to those forces to treat the injured, saying it is very necessary.

Germany is mulling over taking part in the European Union's sea mission, Sofia, to train the Libyan Coast Guard personnel. Sources said Germany's final decision will be announced in a few days after it outlines the kind of support it will add to Libya via the EU's Sofia.

A member of the House of Representatives in Torbuk, Ibrahim Al-Darsi, said appointing a military governor in Benghazi means the end of the civilian authority in the city, saying that he cannot see why the HoR’s Speaker Aqilah Saleh chose Abdel Al-Razzaq Al-Nathori as a military commander on the area from Derna city to Ben Jawad, leaving out Tobruk.

Al-Ahli Benghazi has topped the first group at the Libyan Soccer League after it drew with Darnes 1-1 at Omar stadium in Al-Bayda city as part of the eighth and final week matches. Hence, Al-Ahli qualifies to the 5-team round, while the game between Al-Hilal and Al-Naser will be played on Monday at Banina Martyrs Stadium to know the second team to qualify from this group.

Saraya Center, the media arm of the Benghazi Shura Council, said a foreign drone air-raided Monday morning the western frontline in Benghazi twice, saying the first targeted a house and the second targeted revolutionaries’’ positions between Al-Gawarsha and Ganfouda.

A Dignity Operation militia group has seized Zueitina town, some 180 km southwest of Benghazi, a move that could trigger a fierce fighting for the town's oil terminal. So-called Brigade 153 of Dignity Operation, led by Muftah Shagloof, entered Zueitina last week and declared full control of the town expect the oil port, which is still under control of Ibrahim Jodran's so-called Petroleum Facilities Guard.

Social media activists have reacted angrily to some stickers that were sealed at a number of Tripoli areas to defame Libya's Grand Mufti Sheikh Sadiq Al-Gharyani. The stickers showed a picture of Sheikh Sadiq with "no to Muslim Brotherhood" and "Enough Bloodshed" written on them.
