Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) mission in Libya, Elizabeth Hoff, indicated her willingness to support the Center for Disease Control, after taking office as president of the mission, succeeding Dr. Hussein Jaafar.

This came during a meeting with the director of the National Center for Disease Control, Badr al-Din Al-Najjar, to discuss several health files.

Hoff stressed the WHO's desire to reinforce the support provided to the programs of the National Center for Disease Control, so as to increase the benefit of its services in all Libyan cities.
