The acting Minister of Education, Mohammed Amari Zayed has issued a decision to grant 25 additional degrees to students completing secondary education, who have entered the second round of exams.

The minister's resolution issued under No 1, explains that the increase in the marks comes in recognition of the difficult times the students and their families are going through, in light of the current circumstances in the country, including displacement, lack of fuel, and mobility difficulties, as well as, the long hours of power outage, which has affected negatively the students' performance.
