The 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee will hold a meeting in the city of Sirte during the next two days, the Libyan News agency reports.

The outlet quoted sources as saying the meeting will follow up on the committee’s outcomes in its previous sessions, mainly the ceasefire agreement, as well as the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya.

According to the sources, the Mayor of Sirte issued a circular on Monday to all sectors and companies operating within the administrative complex in Ouagadougou halls, including commercial banks, to move outside the complex from Tuesday as part of security preparations for the planned meeting.

The JMC held its last meeting in Tripoli, on 18 -19 July, in the presence of the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Al-Haddad, and his counterpart in Haftar's forces, Abdel Razek Al-Nadori.
