The committee tasked with organizing the travel arrangements of Libyans stranded in Egypt announced on Friday, its contract with the American University to perform ‘polymerise chain reaction’ (PCR) tests on those due to travel back to Libya, to be followed by a short quarantine period upon their arrival.

The first two flights arrived at Mitiga International Airport, from Borg Al Arab Airport, Alexandria in Egypt, on June 26, carrying 200 passengers.
