The Director of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Haider Al-Sayeh, announced that the Greater Tripoli region had left the red zone, leaving the 5th epidemiological level and returning to the 4th one.
Al-Sayeh explained that the wave was fast, pointing to the role of vaccinations, which contributed to mitigating the seriousness of the wave.
He announced in late January that the Greater Tripoli region had reached the 5th and final epidemiological level, with 900 cases of infection out of every 100,000 citizens.
