The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) apologized on Saturday, for not issuing the daily report of infection cases of the Coronavirus, due to the sterilization and calibration of equipment and devices within the laboratories.
The NCDC said in a statement that it will resume the publishing of its periodic data report on the situation of the Coronavirus in Libya, beginning from Sunday; however, this is not the first occasion that it apologized for not publishing the relevant data and statistics regarding the spread of the virus in Libya, with the same excuse given.
As of Friday, the total number of Coronavirus infections in Libya reached 72,628, whilst the cases of recovery reached 43,259, with a death toll of 995 infected patients.
