The National Center for Animal Health (NCAH) organized a training course in the city of Zintan as part of the preparation for opening the Zintan Laboratory for Livestock Resources.

The centre says that the course comes in the framework of its plan to raise the performance of the national veterinary laboratories.

The course, organized in cooperation with the Zintan Municipal Council and the city's agriculture and livestock authorities, targeted technicians working in the Zintan veterinary laboratory.

The participants received theoretical lectures and practical training in several areas including, biosecurity and occupational safety, serological diagnosis to detect brucellosis, methods of diagnosing endoparasites, and hematopoiesis in sheep and cattle.
