National Safety Authority conducts mine clearance operations south of Tripoli

The Information Office of the Volcano of Rage Operation said that the Demining Office of the National Safety Authority is continuing work to clear the area south of Tripoli, which has witnessed some of the most violent clashes in Tripoli's offensive, from remnants of war and mines.

The office explained that the department's engineers had succeeded in removing missiles and shells from Ain Zara area, including Grad rockets, Missile O-G seven and C-5 E, in addition to three artillery shells and three mortar shells in the area of Maya.

"These explosive remnants were a major security and safety threat," the information office explained.
