The Ministry of Health has shipped vaccinations against measles, mumps, and rubella, in an effort to maintain essential health services even as the country battles to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

The shipment arrived on Wednesday and will be handed over to the national Medical Supply Agency in Tripoli on Thursday evening, said a statement by the Health Ministry on Facebook.

The current shipment contains 51,131 doses and is among other vaccination consignments that reach Libya successively, according to the ministry, noting that the distribution process will be implemented in cooperation with its branches across the country.
