The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has moved to its new headquarters in Sidi Al-Masri district in Tripoli on Tuesday.

The head of the HNEC, Emad Sayeh, appreciated the support of the State Property Department in presenting a new headquarters for the commission, which would contribute to the commission's work.

This comes after the ISIS attack on the commission’s former headquarters in Ghout Al-Shaal on May 02.

Sayeh expressed commitment to move forward with the implementation of the upcoming elections in order to establish the foundations of democracy in Libya.
