A branch of the National Centre for Disease control in Benghazi has confirmed that some passengers returning to Libya were exempt from testing for Coronavirus at Benina Airport because they work for “certain special departments.”

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Center appealed to the Director of Benina Airport Security division, to put a stop to these health breaches which bypass the ‘detection screening’ by certain unknown parties for the Coronavirus.

It added that these parties allow travellers into the country without any screening at all.
