The municipalities and reconciliation councils of Greater Tripoli called Tuesday on the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame, the Presidential Council, and the Reconciliation Committees to exercise their responsibility to repel “the aggressors” who violated the truce in Tripoli on Tuesday morning.

In a statement, the municipalities and councils called on the mentioned authorities to take strict measures in order to punish what they described as the "aggressors" who jeopardized security in the capital and cut off services for the people.

Clashes renewed in the areas of Al- Hadhba and the Airport Road on Tuesday, resulting in at least one fatality and others wounded, in addition to material damage.
