Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has said that around 500 migrants who were transferred to a shelter in the Nafusa Mountains district after the break out of clashes in southern Tripoli are suffering harsh and neglected conditions.

"Around 22 migrants have died of tuberculous and some have attempted to commit suicide in the shelter, while others refused to comply with medical treatment," MSF said in its report on refugees and migrants conditions.

The organization said that it had conducted 2,000 medical consultations and transported 80 immigrants to hospitals from the centre, since April last.
