Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has said that Libya currently has no safe place to provide protection or assistance to refugees and migrants, especially after the recent events in Tripoli.

It added that it had received reports of migrants being exposed to dangerous and inhumane conditions that require further evacuations outside Libya.

"The situation worsened after the closing of several Libyan government-run detention centres and the transfer of more than 100 refugees and migrants to other centres in very poor humanitarian conditions," the organization stated.
