Moroccan Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita has reiterated that his country only recognizes the government formed in accordance with the Skhirat agreement and Security Council resolutions.

In a phone call with his Libyan counterpart, Mohamed Siyala, Bourita said that his government is looking forward to developing close cooperation with Libya, reaffirming rejection of the "brazenly external interference" as described.

For his part, Siyala expressed his government's desire, to see Morocco play a greater role in the Libyan file, based on a joint stance and coordination of efforts to solve the Libyan crisis.
