Morocco and Libya signed on Friday a cooperation agreement aimed at developing joint work in the field of human rights protection.

This came in a meeting that took place in the capital, Rabat, between the president of the Moroccan National Council for Human Rights, Amna Bouayach, and the head of the Libyan Council for Public Freedoms and Human Rights, Omar Hijazi.

The agreement includes exchanging experiences and work to identify and implement joint activities in the field of human rights and public freedoms that fall exclusively within the framework of their respective competences.
