Local sources concerned with the displaced person's file of Derna estimated the number of families displaced after the invasion of the so-called Dignity forces to more than 827 families.

According to these sources, most of these families fled to the western region and are suffering from difficult living conditions, despite the committee formed by the government of the Presidential Council to follow-up their situation, but without any obligation to any expenses.

The families were distributed between Tripoli, Misurata, Zliten, Khoms, and Gharyan, in addition to a number of other cities, the sources explained.
