The CEO of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Mohammed Al-Faqih said Thursday that the company is expected to create more than 6000 new jobs.

He also confirmed that the second rolling factory will be opened with a production capacity of 800,000 tons per annum of reinforcing steel, in addition to the current production of liquid steel, bringing the total output to 4.000.000 tons per year.

Al-Faqih explained that this step will enhance the product and process development in view of the difficult circumstances in the country.
