The Man-made River Authority (MMRA) confirmed the operation of well fields in Al-Hasawneh Water System after reconnecting it with the electric power grid to resume the flow of water to the northern region, in accordance with the accredited engineering conditions.
"The operating of wells came after efforts of the elders and the good people of the southern region, as well as the positive response of the protesters at the power plant," the MMRA explained on Facebook Sunday.
