A technical team of the Hassawna Water System of the Man-Made River Authority (MMRA) has maintained a water leakage on the A.V 830 line feeding Gharyan city.

The maintenance operations were carried out despite the high water pressure at the station, the Director of the Hassawna Water System, Younes Al-Tilisi said, indicating that the main control room has been given permission to start filling the line gradually.

The MMRA had carried out a campaign to block the illegal connections on the Abu Zayan and the middle water paths, with the support of the security services and on the instructions of the Public Prosecutor, after the water supplies to the capital, Tripoli, were affected.
