The director of the Hassawna Water System at the Man-Made River Authority (MMRA), Ahmed Al-Deeb, confirmed on Tuesday that there was a decrease in the level of water supply in some areas of Tripoli, due to some wells being sabotaged.

Al-Deeb pointed out in a press statement that two wells were exposed to sabotage acts last week, bringing the number of wells that were vandalized to 150, confirming that the electrical grid is stable and the water system is working as planned.

MMRA had warned against continuing attacks on the fields and wells, considering it a threat to the country's water security.
