The member of the House of Representatives Mohammed al-Ruaid confirmed the support of Misurata's delegation, which visited France, to the upcoming elections, provided that all parties were well-prepared, and by setting a timeframe in which it will be conducted, due to the difficulty of accomplishing such task amid the current differences.

In a press statement, al-Ruaid clarified that the delegation stressed the need to unify the military institution under a civilian authority, adding that they demanded a greater role for the French side with the international community to promote stability in Libya.

Misurata delegation left Paris on Friday for Rome to discuss developments in Libya ahead of the Palermo conference.
