The Misrata political bloc expressed deep concern over the clashes in the south of Tripoli, calling on all warring parties to halt all armed actions immediately and to recourse to the language of dialogue.

In a statement Tuesday, the bloc has attributed the current impasse of the state to the inaction of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the Presidential Council (PC) to implement the outputs of the political agreement.

It also accused the PC of lacking an inclusive strategy and failing to activate the security arrangements included in the agreement, pointing out that most of presidential decisions had been made hostage to the powerful armed groups.
