The Municipal Council of Misrata has decided to adopt stringent health ban measures for a period of 14 days initially, which it announced on Monday, stipulating that all entry points into the municipality would be closed, with the exception of the shipment of goods and individuals authorized by the authorities and the movement of patients for medical treatment.

It did, however strictly forbid gatherings for both funerals and weddings, whilst permitting gatherings of not more than ten individuals, provided that all preventive measures are adhered to, which is to include distancing of two meters, along with the wearing of masks and the use of sterilizing liquids, such as alcohol.
