Misrata hosted the International Scientific Conference for Hockey under the auspices of the Libyan Olympic Committee and the organization of the Libyan Hockey Federation.
The conference, which kicked off on Wednesday, featured the participation of the International Hockey Federation and the European Journal of Sports Science Technology.
President of the International Hockey Federation, Saif Hamad, and the head of the Development Committee of the International Hockey Federation, Al-Tayeb Ikram, joined the event and delivered statements at the opening ceremony.
A display material presented at the conference highlighted the evolution of hockey in Libya. There was also a scientific lecture on contemporary sports, and another entitled (Making the Champion in the Sports Field.)
