Minister of Social Affairs, Fadhi Al-Shafei confirmed Tuesday that the number of families who were forced to flee their homes due to the war waged on Tripoli has amounted to 23,884 families.
"Around 1380 families have been relocated in 47 shelters, while 22,504 families are staying with relatives," Shafi disclosed in a press statement.
She further explained that these figures include around 3,315 displaced families from Murzuq town, who fled to Tripoli following the clashes in their town.
