The Ministry of Local Government announced the postponement of the meeting of the municipality mayors, heads of local councils and the facilitation committees until Tuesday.
The ministry stated in an official letter Sunday that the meeting will be held in the capital Tripoli under the title "The path of decentralization and the transfer of powers, a step towards the stability of Libya".
The second meeting of the mayors, which was held last March in Tripoli, called on the High Judicial Council to take over the country if the amending process of the political agreement fails.
