A meeting was held on Tuesday, at the Center for Quality Assurance and Occupational Standards of the Ministry of Labour to discuss the training and employment of individuals with disabilities.
The meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Training Quality Department, Adel Abboud, and Director of the Office of Support and Empowerment of People with Disabilities, Hanan Al-Kadoshi, discussed launching training courses for persons with disabilities to help them build their skills, in order to improve their chances of finding work.
The attendees explored the possibility of preparing specialized courses for this segment, especially in the field of vocational training, as well as integrating them with trainees in other specialties.
They also agreed to prepare specialized curricula that commensurate to the nature of work undertaken by persons with disabilities.
