The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has prepared and equipped the new health isolation center at the National Institute for Oncology in Misrata, which has been adapted as a screening center and diagnostic clinic for Coronavirus cases, along with all those suffering from acute respiratory symptoms.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the center was launched with a capacity of 102 beds, with 50 beds specifically allocated to intensive care patients.

The center has also been equipped with a ‘one megawatt generator’, oxygen equipment, along with access to the internet.

Dialysis machines have also been supplied and a new isolation department for children was opened, along with a pharmacy, laboratory, laundry and storage facilities for medical supplies and equipment.
