The crisis committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on Libyans stranded abroad to fill in their data on the ministry's official website, in order to facilitate communications between the consulates and citizens.

In a statement, the committee stressed it is making every effort along with the relevant authorities to bring Libyans home, noting that arrangements are underway to ensure the safety of its nationals and that the infection would not be passed.

The ministry said it had developed a plan to meet the challenges posed by the Covid-19, including providing those stuck abroad with accommodation and subsistence when capacity is available, according to the Foreign Ministry.
