The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Omar Al-Katti, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso, the issue of the return of the General-Secretariat of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States and the office of the African Union (AU), to practice their work at their headquarters in Tripoli.

Al-Katti explained that Libya is looking forward to the AU playing a greater role and to intensifying the visits of leaders of African countries to Libya.

For his part, the Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs said that he will convey to President Denis Sassou Nguesso the concerns of the Libyan side, particularly on the issues of national reconciliation and assistance in holding the elections on time.
