The Libyan Minister of Education, Musa Al-Maqrif, on Wednesday, approved the results of the secondary school certificate exams for the academic year 2020-2021, with a success rate of 76.91%.

A mixture of 106,774 male and female students took the secondary examination, distributed as 81,117 in the scientific section, 25,320 in the literary section and 337 in religious education, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education.

The success rate in the scientific section was 80.14%, as compared to the literary rate section, which was 66.49% meaning, 5280 students will enter the second sitting, whilst 3,204 students have failed for their final attempt and no further sittings will be forthcoming.
