The Minister of State for Displaced Affairs, Yousif Jalala disclosed Sunday that the number of families displaced by the recent war waged by Haftar has exceeded 15,000 families, pointing out that the IDPs are experiencing difficult circumstances.

In a press statement, the minister explained that the crisis committees in all municipalities are continuing their work to provide the IDPs with food parcels and basic services, emphasizing that businessmen and volunteers have spared no effort in providing what they can, in order to alleviate the suffering of the affected families.

Jalala added that the ministry has requested the crisis committee to allocate additional funds to help IDPs, noting that this will contribute to the alleviation of their suffering as the Eid approaches.
