Minister of Culture and Knowledge, Mabrouka Toghy, made a visit on March 31 to "the Sheikh Ali Gharyani Book Centre," in the capital's eastern suburb Tajoura.

She expressed her pride in the level of services provided in this space and emphasized the ministry's readiness to support all initiatives that contribute to promoting culture and building up knowledge and skills throughout the country.

The book centre has more than 200,000 titles on display that spans different branches of science. It also hosts and organizes lectures, meetings, cultural salons, and educational and recreational activities for all ages and groups.

Visitors can also benefit from other services that the centre provides, including free printing and photocopying, besides borrowing books or reading in the library with a 'good free' cup of coffee.
