The military zone of Brak Al-Shati south of Libya confirmed the crash of a military aircraft  in the Hamada Al-Hamra area Sunday, due to a technical malfunction.

The spokesman for the region's military zone Mohammed Khalifa told Libya Observer that two pilots were on the plane and that both of them had survived the crash.

The plane took off from Brak Air Force Base in an operational sortie to target armed groups in the vicinity of the base, according to the spokesman of the region's military zone.
