German Chancellor, Angela Merkel has apologized to the Tunisian President, Kais Saied for the late invitation made to his country to attend the "Berlin conference" that took place last Sunday.
The Tunisian presidency said that Merkel told President Saied during a phone call that she understands Tunisia's rejection to attend the Berlin conference, ensuring that it will be invited at the next meeting to be held at the level of foreign ministers, and in all initiatives related to the Libyan file.
