The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi and the US Ambassador, Richard Norland, have discussed the importance of pursuing all options to maintain momentum for presidential and parliamentary elections and fulfilling the demands of millions of Libyans who are ready to exercise their right to vote.

This came during their phone call, during which Menfi called on the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to give priority to the interest of the country above any consideration, away from any political conflicts.

For his part, Norland praised the efforts of the PC in working to unify the military and economic institution represented by the Central Bank of Libya, and its attempts to make the national reconciliation project a success.
