The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, has affirmed that the PC will continue its work on the file of national reconciliation, stressing the need for the participation of all political parties to reach the electoral process and to meet the aspirations of the Libyans.

This came during his meeting with the Chairman of the Peace and Prosperity Party, Mohammed Al-Ghweil, and a number of party members, to discuss the latest Libyan political developments.

The two sides discussed the importance of strengthening consensus between all political parties to build a secure and stable state, in addition to ways establish a legal basis for elections agreed upon by all.

For his part, Al-Ghweil affirmed their support for the PC, welcoming its initiative to make the national reconciliation project a success.
