The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, discussed with the leaders of the city of Murzuq the suffering of the residents from the deteriorating living conditions, along with security threats in their region which is close to the southern Libyan border.

During his meeting with the leaders of the city, Menfi confirmed the PC’s intention to solve all outstanding problems in the region and to establish security and stability, by way of forming fact-finding committees to study the situation urgently.

He added that the matter will be referred to the High Commission for National Reconciliation to consider all possible and urgent solutions to the situation in the city.
