The French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drain, presented the head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, an official invitation from the French President Emmanuel Macron, to visit France next November to attend an international conference due to be held in Paris at the level of heads of state and government, with the aim of discussing the best methods to remove mercenaries and foreign forces from Libyan soil.

This came during a meeting that brought together the head of the PC, the French Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation that took part in the Libya Stabilization Conference.

Le Drain expressed his satisfaction with the security situation in Tripoli and the stability he witnessed, along with the return to normal life since the new authorities took over the leadership of the country, expressing his wishes for holding the presidential and parliamentary elections on time in December.
