The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, in his capacity as Vice-President of the African Union, has participated in the meeting of the Presidency of the Union, via video link.
The meeting, which was held on Monday, was devoted to listening to the briefing of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, according to the PC media office.
The meeting comes in implementation of the outcomes of the meeting of the Presidency Office of the African Union, which was held on May 10, which authorized Senegalese President Macky Sall, to conduct a visit to Russia, accompanied by the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, on June 3.
