Menfi orders preventive measures at all ports to confront Coronavirus

During a meeting with the Minister of Health, Ali Al-Zanati, the Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi stressed the necessity to take all preventive and health measures at air, sea and land ports to confront the Coronavirus and to create awareness by citizens regarding the danger of transmitting the virus.

Menfi reiterated that the PC supports the Ministry of Health, referring to his contact with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNU) on the need to follow up on the case of Libyans stranded in Tunisia to ensure their safe return to Libya as soon as possible, having taken all necessary preventive measures against the spread of the Coronavirus into the country.

For his part, Al-Zanati confirmed that the ministry is prepared to address this pandemic and that it has developed a plan to both protect and educate citizens and assist them to commit to taking the anti-virus vaccine, along with registering with the database of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
