The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, has discussed with the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, the latest Libyan political developments.
Menfi stressed the Presidential Council keenness to maintain stability and the unity of institutions in Libya and to hold elections as soon as possible to achieve the aspirations of the Libyans.
The Maltese ambassador gave a briefing on his recent visit to the city of Benghazi, and the progress he made in the field of resuming flights and granting visas to citizens of the two countries, and the returning of Maltese companies to work in Libya, stressing his country's readiness to support everything that enables Libyans to reach and overcome the current crisis.
