The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, has issued a decision to dispatch a delegation of military leaders to Egypt for an "official work mission" as described in the resolution.

The decision stated that members of the Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) from the east and west would accompany the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Major General Mohamed Al-Haddad, and the so-called Chief of Staff of Khalifa Haftar, Abdel Razek Al-Nadori to Egypt for a week-long visit without unveiling the nature of the mission.

The Presidential Council is to cover all the expenses of the delegates' visit to Egypt, including the allowance for travel and accommodation.

However, the head of the 5 + 5 JMC of Haftar's forces, Marja' Al-Amami, expresses his bewilderment at Menfi's resolution, which addresses military leaders from the east.

He said Menfi has no authority over them, insisting they would only take orders from Haftar.
