The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, expressed his firm stance in holding both presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously.

This came during his meeting with the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Mohamed Al-Hafi, according to a statement by the PC.

The statement mentioned that Menfi and Al-Hafi discussed the files related to preparing for the electoral process and the accompanying judicial and legal procedures.

Menfi stressed that the Libyans themselves have no choice but to hold the presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously, according to the statement.
