The Presidential Council (PC), in its capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, held a consultative meeting on Sunday to discuss the security and military situation in the country.

A statement by the PC confirmed that its head, Muhammad Menfi, Council member Abdullah Al-Lafi, Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Haddad, Chief of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Hussein Al-Aib, and the head of the Internal Security Service, Major General Lotfi Al-Hariri joined the meeting in Tripoli.
