The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, met on Monday, with the Pakistani ambassador to Libya, Rashad Javid, to discuss developments in the Libyan political situation.
Both sides reviewed bilateral relations, especially in the field of economy and trade, by encouraging Pakistani companies to return to Libya, in order to achieve the common interest of the two countries, according to the PC official Facebook page.
Menfi praised Pakistan's supportive stance for Libya and the depth of the relations between the two countries.
The Pakistani ambassador affirmed his country's support for the PC efforts in reaching a solution to the current political crisis.
