The Faculty of Medicine of Tripoli University hosted on Saturday the third medical education conference under the title "Quality in Medical Education", sponsored by the European Union. The event was attended by the deans of the medical schools in Libya and relevant parties from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, in addition to several medical students and those interested in this aspect.
The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Scientific Affairs, Ahmed Zayed, said that the conference discusses the global quality standards and how to apply them in the Faculty of Medicine, noting that the conference will focus on three topics including admission criteria, curricula, national exams and international accreditation of students' degrees in the Faculty of Medicine.
