The university guards at the Medical Colleges Complex of Benghazi University announced on Saturday that classes are to be suspended until further notice.
Local media revealed that the suspension of classes and closing the headquarters of the colleges came against the backdrop of an attack by an armed group on the university guards, where members of them were physically assaulted and beaten.
Activists in the social networking sites have confirmed the reports of armed clashes inside the medical college campus, which led to the evacuation of the complex and the suspension of classes without disclosing any information of the causes or the parties involved.
